USLC functions to ensure a comprehensive verification of the information given in documents of specialists. We established national standards and launched national registers for digitalization of data on professional competence, educational and academic background, and language proficiency.
The registers are designed to provide access to structured database in order to speed up the procedure of confirming the information during employment, training, internship, etc. It stores information such as person’s educational background, professional qualifications and licenses, practical experience, etc., and about citizens of foreign countries who, accordingly to the law, have obtained exclusive right to practice regulated occupation.
Registration of a person confirms authenticity and reliability of the data given in the documents, which form own professional portfolio and professional status, including language proficiency, academic mobility and integrity. Ensuring compliance with the provisions of national legislation and internal standards, procedure is regulated by the governing of USLC. In case of violations, appropriate changes in National Registers shall be applied immediately.

It is provided by formation of national registers. These are made with a confirmation purpose of information provided by person during employment, training, internship, etc. Our registers store information about the candidate, obtained qualification, registered right to practice occupation in Ukraine, form of this activity, and other importantdetails.
This is a procedure according to which a person who has successfully completed educational program and mastered the key criteria, acquired the right to apply to the USLC for the official registration of professional status in Ukraine. USLC provides appropriate screening of the information submitted by a person for compliance with current legislation and establishes a fact that has legal significance, provides REGISTRATION OF PROFESSIONAL STATUS.

To be registered as a person who intends to carry out independent professional activity, candidate has to submit an application in person to the regulated authority – USLC.
After that, USLC provides a list of documents that need to be scanned. The application is processed by specialists within 10 working days. As a result the conformity and authenticity of the submitted documents are established by the Department of Registers, which provides support in order to include the person in the relevant Register.
Verification of documents by USLC specialists is an important stage of National Registration and is provided separately AS AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE. Including the verification of documents, if necessary, USLC verifies information about the professional experience and other documents related to the professional qualifications of the registrant.
Procedure by itself guarantees that information provided in National Registers is accurate and comprehensive. If candidate submits fake documents or provides false facts, USLC is authorized to notify the relevant organizations, public authorities, as well as foreign licensing agencies about violations. USLC, as the national registration authority, considers the attempt to provide fake documents as a gross violation, it leads to a ban on practice in the country.
